At IndigiScapes, we organise plant and tree identification service, training, workshops, propagation and seed collecting groups and indigenous plant nursery.
Council also works hard to care for trees and vegetation in public spaces through community bushcare program, community tree plantings, maintenance programs for parks, bushland, street trees and landscaping.

Other programs / grants
- Koala Nature Refuges Program (KNRP)
Landholders interested in managing all or part of their property for koala conservation can apply to establish a Koala Nature Refuge.
- Be Natural Landcare grants
Landcare Australia and Be Natural has launched a $125,000 grants program that will provide funding for voluntary environmental community groups across Australia. This grants program will enable groups to continue their great work in tackling local environmental issues by providing funding to help with the continuation of on-going projects. The Be Natural Landcare grants program will provide grants of up to $5,000 to 25 local groups to help with the projects which have not received funding in the last 12 months. Through the grants program, groups will also be encouraged to find innovative ways of attracting more volunteers to their group and projects. Closes 10 October 2011.
- BK Dahl Trust Small Grants
This fund supports communities undertaking eucalyptus education, promotion, cultivation, establishment and conservation with grants of up to $15,000. Applications close 4 November 2011 and further information is available at www.dahltrust.org.au or by phoning 03 8648 6510.
- Energex Sustainability and Environment Fund
This fund has been set up to help local community groups, recognised environmental organisations and schools fully deliver their environmental projects. Apply for funding before 31 October 2011.
